SR-318 potently inhibits the TNF-α release in whole blood (IC50 = 283 nM). SR-318 is a potent and highly selective inhibitor of p38 MAPK. The IC50 values are 5 nM, 32 nM and 6.11 μM for p38α, p38β and p38α/β, respectively.(In Vitro):SR-318 shows anti-cancer and anti-inflammatory activity. SR-318 can be used as a chemical probe for targeting this particular inactive state of these two p38 isoforms, p38α/β.
