Phenylacetylglycine is an acyl glycine. Acyl glycines are normally minor metabolites of fatty acids. The presence of phenylacetylglycine in urine has been confirmed for dogs rats and mice. However the presence of this compound in human urine is controversial. GC-MS studies have not found this compound while NMR studies claimed to have identified it.

Apoptosis Analysis Cell Line:Neonatal mouse cardiomyocytes (NMCMs)Concentration:10, 33 and 100 μM Incubation Time:Half an hour before H/R injury Result:Inhibited disreoxygenation injury induced apoptosis.Western Blot Analysis Cell Line:Neonatal mouse cardiomyocytes (NMCMs ) Concentration:10, 33 and 100 μM Incubation Time:Half an hour before H/R injury Result:Significantly decreased the ratio of Bax/Bcl2 and cleaved-caspase 3 expression. Enhanced p-PI3K protein expression. cAMP levels were increased in the early stage and then gradually decreased.
